The CALLISTO villas are striking for several reasons, one being the trademark sweeping elliptical roofs. They actually have two roofs, the top one supported with two cantilever columns. It’s rounded shape effectively streamlines the house, minimizing noise from wind.
It also creates a vent between it and the second roof, channeling air through and cooling the building below, reducing it’s ambient temperature. The roofs are tiled with hard-wearing tar shingles that are resistant to corrosion and displacement.
While exhibiting a stunningly new design, when unlit the CALLISTO villas are naturally colored to blend in with their natural surroundings. Combinations of white, grey-silver, black and bali green is blended in to several tones both with the paint finish and natural colors of the stone used.
